Another Day, Another Event!

Hey All!

Its only Tuesday and we have already had a lot of exciting things going on here within Student Government. Just last night the Freshman Leadership Council had its second meeting where they were briefed about everything SGA, while the Hispanic Latino Student Union hosted speaker Luis Inoa, and Pride Student Union as well as Noles for Haiti had meetings at the GLOBE.

Every day there are dozes of events put on by SGA or student groups on campus!

It is often difficult to alk around campus and not be able to notice one, thats why we encourage every students to be active  and learn more about these groups and the different programming they put on. Today we had several Universities at Oglesby UNion, all helping seniors and juniors find graduate programs that interested them.

Where you able to stop by?

Did you find anything that interested you?

If so, please drop us a comment! We continue to report everything around campus on Twitter and Facebook so please check us out and tell your friends as well!

Tomorrow, we will attempt to live-blog the Senate at 7:30pm as we test CoverItLive software, so please feel free to to visit us then.

Till next time, we are off to the Women’s Centere general body meeting and several other events taking place tonight.

See you there!

Connect With Us!

Seminoles,

I would first like to welcome you to the Student Government Blog, which we hope will become an invaluable tool for all students who want to be informed about all three branches of the Student Government Association.

As you may have seen, we are undergoing several changes in our online presence to better inform, serve, and connect with all students about the current ongoings of SGA. Recently we overhauled our website, making it easier for all students to become familiarized with their elected officials and the work we conduct.

We have restructured all the content on our website facilitating the access to resources such as: how to obtain funding, promoting different around campus, finding a student organization that interests you, and much more!

Additionally, we have constructed a bi-weekly broadcast named “The Seminole Source” which will be hosted by different SGA officials in an effort to keep you updated with programming, ongoings within SGA, and any news that may affect the student body. Be sure to check our first episode below, but be on the look out for new episodes made available via our Youtube Channel.

Other ways to keep informed is by visiting this blog, or by visiting our Facebook and Twitter pages respectively which are updated daily!

Please be sure to stop by our offices for any concerns or questions you may have!

Until next time,

Juan Escalante
Secretary of Press
Student Government Association
